Do you remember this ABC Play School song? I've been singing it all day as I catch up on some loooooong over due laundry. Seriously, it was beginning to pile up...and smell!
Dressed in my favourite vintage sundress and bare feet, I've been relishing in the fresh smell of clean linen and the feeling of springy grass underfoot. The soft 'flapping' sound of sheets and blankets blowing in the breeze.
Last weeks dreary weather reflected my equally dreary mood, and although still unemployed, I am choosing to simply, enjoy the present. The sunshine, gentle breezes, the ankle deep grass* in our backyard and a clean house.
What are you simply enjoying (or enjoying simply) this week?
*last weeks rain + this weeks sunshine = 3 inches of new green grass...which now needs to be mown.
